Spring and Summer Cocktails at Fahrenheit Charlotte

The warm weather has made its way to Charlotte which means it’s officially rooftop bar season. Situated on the 21st floor of the Hyatt Place, Fahrenheit Charlotte boasts panoramic views of Uptown that make the perfect backdrop for dinner and drinks. This popular rooftop bar recently debuted a new menu of spring/summer cocktails that you’ll want to try.

Fahrenheit Charlotte Spring & Summer Cocktails

I was invited to get a sneak peek at these cocktails. Most of this menu incorporates club soda into the cocktails, which keeps the drinks light and refreshing. Here’s what you can order from Fahrenheit’s new spring and summer cocktail menu.

Berry Famous

Lavender Blues

Lavender Haze

Berry Famous

A blend of vodka, raspberries and basil syrup, finished with a bubbly club soda. This was the first drink I ordered during the preview event. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an effervescent sipper to kick off your time at Fahrenheit.

Kiss and Tell

Bacardi rum shaken with strawberry purée, lime juice and simple syrup for a touch of sweetness, topped with club soda and finished with fresh berries and mint.

Lavender Blues

Tanqueray gin shaken with lavender syrup and fresh lemon juice. This combination is topped with a silky blueberry foam that adds a soft, subtly sweet finish.

Summer House

Cazadores Blanco tequila with cool cucumber syrup, lime juice and strawberry purée, finished with a splash of club soda for a crisp, lightly sweet sip. Order one of these before discussing the ongoing drama on the Bravo show “Summer House” with friends.

Southern Belle

A smooth mix of spiced rum and vanilla-citrus notes from Licor 43, with lemon juice and peach tea for a sweeter sip. I was drawn to this drink for the spiced rum and peach tea. While I typically don’t love a sweeter drink, this has an almost candy-like finish that tasted familiar and I couldn’t get enough of.

Lavender Haze

If you’re not drinking alcohol but still want to raise a glass, order the Lavender Haze mocktail This is a floral refresher with light lavender sweetness and fizzy Sprite.

Fahrenheit Dinner Menu

Don’t just come to Fahrenheit for drinks. Stay for dinner, too. The dinner menu, under the direction of chef Rocco Whalen, features a selection of shareable small plates like the Dynamite Rock Shrimp with creamy honey glaze, the Lobster Dumplings topped with sweet chili sauce and the popular Ahi Poke Nachos that swap tortilla chips for crispy wontons. Fahrenheit also serves up salads, sushi, pizzas, steaks and other full-size entrees, so there’s sure to be something to please every appetite.
