WARNING: This is not a health food blog. I love butter, cheese, and I'm not afraid of too much bacon.

When I was younger, I desperately wanted to be a food critic. My mom told me that I would first need to learn how to cook. Until I was a junior in college, my culinary expertise was limited to scrambled eggs.

At 26-years-old, cooking has become an escape. When I have the right recipe, I become my favorite chef from my favorite show. I want to share these recipes with you.

When I'm not in the kitchen, I'm out enjoying the fruits of someone else's culinary labors. I've found a deep appreciation for local fare and love exploring the diverse dining destinations in my new home of Virginia Beach, back home in Baltimore and anywhere I travel. I hope my blog posts make you feel like you've pulled up a chair right next to me during my meal. If I make you hungry at least once while you read my work, then I have done my job as a food blogger.
