Coastal Virginia Magazine Wine Fest 2020

It’s almost the anniversary of my first time enjoying wine, a wine-iversary, if you will. I know this because two years ago, I attended my first wine festival and imbibed a multitude of samples from Virginia wineries at the Coastal Virginia Magazine WineFest. Now, a seasoned pro at wine festivals, I’m very excited to attend this year’s CoVa WineFest, January 25–26 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.

About the CoVa WineFest

The first local wine festival of the year, the 2020 Coastal Virginia Magazine WineFest, presented by Virginia Eye Consultants, will feature unlimited tastings from some of Virginia’s best wineries.

This year’s festival will boast even more than just wine. Virginia beer, cider and spirits lovers will have something to toast to as well. Enjoy samples from Virginia craft breweries and cideries, including Bold Rock, MoMac Brewing Company, Sly Clyde Ciderworks and more.

You won’t want to miss the brand new Distillery Den, featuring tastings from Belle Isle Craft Spirits, Tarnished Truth Distilling Company and more Virginia spirit makers.

Between the sipping and sampling, browse the vendors set up around the event. These vendors will be showcasing and selling their handcrafted art, services, clothing, food and more.

Looking for entertainment? There will be live music from Buckshot, and Colonial DJs will be spinning both days of the festival. Make your way to the stage each day to watch the competitive Grape Stomp between two local celebrities.

CoVa WineFest Tickets

Tickets for the 2020 CoVa WineFest can be purchased online. Purchase your tickets in advance to save $10 compared to the door price.

Tasting tickets include entry to the event, a commemorative CoVa WineFest glass and tastings from all of the participating wineries, cideries and distilleries. Non-tasting tickets are also available, but where’s the fun in that?
